It helps to say which device you use (iPhone, iPad or Mac), what you expected to happen and what happened instead. A screenshot helps a lot.
Common questions
How do I change the game or the level?
When the app opens it shows the start page: tap the cloud of the game you want (numbers, colors or shapes) to open its level map, then tap the glowing level to start a round.
Every game has 12 levels, from one spider and two objects up to four spiders and ten. When your child finishes a level its stars land on it and the next level opens, and any open level can be played again. To switch games during play, tap the home button in the top-left corner to go back to the map, then to the start page.
How do I turn the music or the sound off?
With the two buttons in the top-left corner of the start page, or during play from the tools button in the top-right corner (click it on a Mac):
- The music button turns off the opening music and the meadow’s background sounds.
- The sound button turns off the spoken words, the words of praise and the little sound effects.
Tap a button again to turn it back on, then tap anywhere outside the panel to close it. The app remembers these two settings as well.
Which devices are supported?
- iPhone with iOS 18 or later, including both screens of iPhone Duo.
- iPad with iPadOS 18 or later.
- Mac with macOS 15 or later.
On iPhone and iPad the game plays in landscape only, so turn the device sideways. On a Mac the window can be resized freely.
How does my child hear a word again?
Tap the spider or the little cloud above it, and the spider says its word again. (If nothing plays, check that sound is on in the tools panel and that the device’s volume is up.)
Where are the animal friends my child earned?
In the album, “My Meadow”: tap the button in the top-right corner of the start page, which shows how many friends there are once the first one is earned. Every friend your child has earned is there in full color, and the ones still to come wait as soft shadows. Tap a friend to make it hop, drag to see the rest, and tap the orange arrow to go back. The friends are kept on the device; deleting the app deletes them.
Does it need the internet? Are there ads or purchases?
No. The game works entirely offline, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no accounts. It collects nothing about your child and sends only anonymous play statistics and crash reports when the device is online. The details are in the privacy policy.
