Sort and Play
العربيةPrivacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
Sort and Play collects nothing about your child: no name, age, photos, voice, precise location or advertising identifier.
No ads, no accounts, no in-app purchases and no tracking.
The app sends only anonymous play statistics and crash reports, through Google’s Firebase, so we can fix crashes and improve the game.
Sort and Play («صنّف والعب», “the app”) is a learning game for children aged 3 to 5, made by Amir Hayek (“we”). This page explains what the app does with data. It covers the iPhone, iPad and Mac versions of the app.
What the app does not collect
- No personal information. No name, age, email address, photos, audio, contacts or precise location.
- No advertising identifier and no tracking. The app does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not track your child across other apps or websites, and shares no data for advertising.
- No ads, no accounts, no in-app purchases and no links out of the app.
- No permissions. The app does not ask for the camera, microphone, photos, location or contacts.
What the app sends
The app uses two services from Google Firebase. What they send is not linked to anyone’s name or account:
- Anonymous play statistics (Firebase Analytics): which game is chosen, levels started and finished, stars earned, the number of wrong tries, hints shown, friends earned, the album being opened, and music or sound being turned on or off. With these come general details such as session length, device model, system and app version, and the approximate country or region, which Google derives from the IP address.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): if the app stops unexpectedly, technical details about the crash are sent, with the device model and the system and app version.
This data is identified by a random number for this installation, which changes if the app is deleted and installed again; it is not the advertising identifier. Everything related to advertising and ad personalization is turned off in Firebase. We use this data only to understand how the game is played and to fix crashes. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else. Google processes it on our behalf under the Google Privacy Policy.
The game works fully offline; statistics are sent when the device is online.
What stays on the device
The app remembers the chosen game, whether music and sound are on, the best stars on each level, and the animal friends your child has earned for the “My Meadow” album. These are stored on the device itself and are never sent to us. Like any app’s settings they may be included in your device’s backup, and deleting the app deletes them.
Children
The app is made for young children under Apple’s Kids category rules: it collects no information that identifies a child, shows no ads, and has no links out of the app. Because the data it sends is anonymous and not linked to anyone, we cannot find a particular child’s data; deleting the app starts a new random number.
Changes to this policy
If what the app does with data ever changes, this page changes with it and the effective date at the top moves.
