Multiple accounts, made solid — plus a sharper chart and faster Claude Code stats.
Multi-account tracking got a deep overhaul. Two accounts that live inside the same organization — or a single login that spans several organizations — are now told apart properly, so usage, session history, widgets, and Apple Watch data always belong to the account you're looking at instead of blending together. If your history looked mixed up, doubled, or attached to the wrong account, this release fixes it.
Signing in now matches your session to the right account by identity rather than guessing at it. That fixes accounts that got stuck, silently repointed to a sibling account after re-authenticating, or refused to recover once an organization changed. Credentials are only saved once the pairing is confirmed, and an account that needs attention offers a direct “Sign In Again” action.
If your Claude login belongs to more than one organization, the app now asks which one you want to track instead of picking for you — on both Mac and iPhone.
Give each account a name that makes sense to you — “Work”, “Personal”, or whatever you like. Rename from the Accounts pane on Mac or the account hub on iPhone, and the name shows up everywhere the account does.
Your notification rules now sync between Mac and iPhone through iCloud, so setting up an alert once is enough. Any rule you'd rather keep to one device can be marked “This device only”.
History ranges from 12 hours to 7 days now draw your weekly usage as a line over the session bars, so you can see both at once. Weekly bars that hit the limit are rendered in a darker, urgent orange, and finished session bars now end exactly at their reset.
The Claude Code session corpus is now streamed and cached incrementally instead of re-read from scratch, so stats load quickly even with a large history. Sessions are also indexed from your projects folder, which means work that never landed in the history file is finally counted.
Also included: copy your usage snapshot as an image straight from the menu bar; unrecognized plans are no longer labelled “Free”, and Team plans get their own badge; the remaining-percentage mode reads “42% left” everywhere, widgets included; widgets honor the Show Remaining Percentage setting; the menu bar popover reveals itself after your first sign-in; predictions can be turned off with a hover × on the banner; Appearance is now the first tab in Settings; plus dozens of fixes and fresh translations across 16 languages. Found a bug, or something you'd use every day? Click the speech-bubble icon in the menu bar to send feedback in seconds — every message is read. Thanks for using Usage for Claude!
Big update: manage every Claude account from your menu bar.
Add your work and personal Claude accounts and switch between them from the menu bar title. No signing out, no re-logging in. Each account keeps its own usage, history, and plan badge, and all accounts refresh quietly in the background so the one you switch to is already up to date. The Accounts pane in Settings has been rebuilt around multi-account support. Your first account is free; tracking more at once is a premium feature.
The companion iPhone app is now fully featured. Sign in directly on your iPhone without needing your Mac, view the same dashboard, session history, insights, activity grid, and usage windows, and set alerts by describing them — for example, "warn me at 80%". Your Mac and iPhone stay in sync through iCloud.
Know when the issue is on Claude's side. The app monitors Anthropic's service status and shows a banner with the details during an outage or degraded performance, so you can stop troubleshooting your own setup. Turn on a status rule to be notified as well.
When Anthropic adds a new model or usage window, it appears in your dashboard and menu bar automatically. No app update needed.
We rebuilt performance from the ground up to reduce background disk and CPU work dramatically. That means better battery life, and less app activity if you previously noticed the app writing to disk for long periods. Charts load faster, and we fixed a launch crash plus a set of sign-in issues that could leave usage stuck at 0% or 100%.
Also included: a refreshed account switcher and paywall, live progress-bar previews in Settings, and dozens of polish fixes across 16 languages. Found a bug, or something you'd use every day? Click the speech-bubble icon in the menu bar to send feedback in seconds — every message is read. Thanks for using Usage for Claude!
Big update: Claude usage is now easier to see and act on across every device.
A new watchOS app brings your Claude usage to your wrist. It syncs via iCloud, includes complications for every watch face, and shows your usage at a glance.
Stay in control with alerts that trigger when your session, weekly, or Opus usage hits your limits. You can also get notified when those periods reset. All notification controls are now in the new Notifications settings tab.
Check usage without opening the app. Get new iOS lock screen widgets and Apple Watch complications, alongside the existing Mac desktop widgets and iOS home screen widgets.
Connect your live usage to AI agents and dashboards using a local HTTP endpoint. A bundled skill markdown is included, so you can get from setup to integration faster.
Make decisions with clearer views: a Current Session chart for real-time progress, a Session History bar chart with filters, refreshed Insights cards, plus a resizable window and adjustable font size for better readability.
A native preferences window organizes everything into General, Appearance, Notifications, and Sync panes. You can also hide your account email and show remaining percentage in the menu bar.
We also refreshed the Help Center (now available in 15 languages), redesigned the macOS feedback form, and shipped dozens of polish improvements. Thanks for using Usage for Claude!
